SNOW!!!!

Mason was so excited to get out and play in the snow but we weren't sure when it was going to happen. Both Vance and I really wanted to be there so the only chance of this happening was on a Saturday. But with Christmas coming, that was also the only day we could get our shopping done together. It just so happens, the Saturday after one of the big storms right before Christmas, we were out shopping, and our tire went flat. Vance put the spare on, and we were planning on taking the tire to Big-O to get fixed while we drove around town on the spare. But...on our way to Big-O, the spare went flat too. So we figured while they were fixing both tires, we would go to my parent's house and let Mason play in the snow since the shopping had been bumped out the window. Our main goal in playing in the snow was for Vance and Mase to build a snowman since Mason had recently become obsessed with them. But unfortunlately, the snow was pure powder and refused to pack at all. So, they just played and had a ton of fun!

Honoring Grandpa Sandgren

Thanksgiving night, we received news that Vance's Grandpa had passed away. The funeral was the following Friday in Provo. It was an amazing ceremony and he was honored by many people. He was a choir director for Orem High, so a bunch of his students came and sang in his honor. It was the most amazing piece I've ever heard. Grandpa always set such a good example by the way he treated Grandma. He was always telling us how beautiful and special she was to him. They were always so cute to each other and always tried to make the other one the spotlight of the night. He will be missed very much, but we are so grateful for the knowledge that we will someday see him again. What a blessing the gospel is in our lives.

Sandgren Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving with the Sandgren's, we spent the entire Saturday before Thanksgiving day hanging out and having fun. We first went to Chuck-A-Rama to eat. It was nice to have such a big variety of food that was all you can eat, including dessert! Then we went to BYU to go bowling. I love bowling, and even though I was 28 weeks pregnant, I had just as much fun! After bowling, we went back to Vance's mom's house and watched the BYU vs Utah game and ate more food! Then we watched old home videos that were hilarious and quite entertaining! It was a fun day. So fun, in fact, that we didn't leave until almost 2am!
